Torfgård has informed the board of her intention to leave the role and will remain in post until the first quarter of next year.
The board has begun the search for her successor.
“I have informed the board of my wish to leave IRLAB with mixed emotions. It is a company I am proud to have been part of. Following a successful capital raise and with intensive efforts under way to secure the next revenue-generating partnership agreement, I now look forward to continuing to work towards delivering on our targets until I take the next step in my career early next year,” said Kristina Torfgård, CEO of IRLAB Therapeutics in a press release.
